In this series we use the Integrative Restoration (iRest®) approach to Yoga Nidra. Each class includes brief discussion and a long guided Yoga Nidra session (seated in a chair). Participants will receive handouts and other tools to support weekly home practice. Please join us for this transformational experience!

The journey from perimenopause into menopause is a time of change, challenge and transformation. Though we share commonalities, the experience is unique for each woman – affecting different facets of our lives.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided mindfulness meditation. It is a systematic process for leading the body and mind into receptive states of relaxation and deep presence. Through this process we are able to access inner healing and the pure awareness of being. Yoga Nidra is a powerful tool to help reduce stress, overcome insomnia, solve problems, resolve trauma, and neutralize anxiety, fear, anger and depression. It is a process we can use to explore our life experiences and enter into a deeper connection with all that is.

This class is a great way for anyone to stay active, flexible and strong. Geared towards seniors, Golden Yoga is perfect for anyone who wants to move at a slower pace with specific instruction. We include deep breathing to energize the body and mind, movement to lubricate the joints for greater flexibility, and poses to challenge and maintain balance.
